amis des Pyrenees - Friends of the Pyrenees offers simple accommodation in a spacious period house in France ( with 3 bedrooms for couples, 2 dormitories and all essential services (including dishwasher!). The house provides a base and meeting place for nature lovers and walkers from several European countries. In addition Richard - a qualified mountain leader with 20 years knowledge of the region - offers guided hikes in the little frequented mountains nearby. Both unlimited stays and hikes are available for the combined annual membership fee of 300 Euro (approx. 300 USD or 200 GB£ ).
