It is our intent to co- laterally develop a somewhat parallel system on roads so that the physically weak or disabled can appreciate similar desert settings. The High Sierra Volunteer Trail Crew - We clear backpacking trails of winter-fall, and do maintenance of Sierra National Forest facilities, etc. It's free, and we feed you 3 meals a day. Some groups go in on mules 12 miles and hike out, and others work around the base camp. Family oriented, LOTS of fun, and someone else does all the cooking!
