The Desert Trail Association - The DTA is an organization dedicated to developing a trail system from Canada to Mexico principally through the High Desert Plateau regions of Montana, Idaho, Oregon. Nevada & California. We presently have trails established and trail guides published for 8 sections in Oregon and Northern Nevada. It is our intent to co- laterally develop a somewhat parallel system on roads so that the physically weak or disabled can appreciate similar desert settings.
